Qualifications

• Driver's license preferred.
• Ability to understand verbal and visual instructions and communicate with job site supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Measure distance from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch lines.
• Observe excavating activities for conformance to stake references.
• Read survey stake to determine grade for embankment.
• Operate basic hand tools safely and effectively; assist skilled workers.
• Direct traffic around construction zones when required.
• Load and unload materials such as concrete, tools, and equipment.
