Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license (preferred).
• Must be able to understand verbal and visual instructions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Walking alongside Asphalt Paver operations and identifying areas needing attention.
• Using hand tools to manipulate asphalt for a smooth surface.
• Serving as Spotter for dump trucks and heavy equipment using visual, verbal and hand signals.
• Operating small equipment such as broom tractor, skid steer, roller, chop saw, grinders, walk-behind saw, etc.
• Shoveling, sweeping, and using a wheelbarrow.
