Job summary

Freedom Construction and Painting LLC is seeking a hardworking Construction Laborer to join our Holyoke, CO crew. This hands-on role involves site prep, framing, finishing tasks, and assisting painting crews while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Overtime paid at time and a half; weekend work may be required. We value dependability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with opportunities for training and growth on varied projects.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required - willing to train the right motivated candidate
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting 50+ lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction equipment a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills on the job
• Must be willing to work on roofs, ladders and man lifts
• Must pass background check

Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction tasks including site preparation, framing, and finishing work
• Support painting crews with surface prep, priming, and interior/exterior painting projects
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment on job sites
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools as directed by crew leads
• Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to efficient project completion
• Perform demolition, cleanup, and debris removal as needed
