Job summary

CRH Montana Materials & Construction is seeking personnel for on-site construction roles supporting highway, utility, and grade crews in Helena, MT. You will work outdoors, operate equipment, and contribute to paving and material handling tasks with training provided if you have limited experience.

Wage ranges from $18.00 to $29.97 per hour depending on experience, with overtime opportunities and Davis Bacon wage considerations. Benefits include health, 401k, and PTO, among others.

Qualifications

• Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance and punctuality.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently within designed parameters.
• Set up fencing, barricades, and safety cones to secure work areas.
• Walk behind paver machine and assist with asphalt placement and leveling.
• Pick up and deliver construction materials to job sites and perform site clean-up.
• Assist with flagging and traffic control as needed and maintain tools/equipment.
