Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Laborer to support construction sites with general cleanup, material handling, and basic site readiness tasks. The role involves digging, backfilling, leveling earth, and assisting skilled tradespeople by carrying materials and tools.

You will also prepare surfaces, operate basic tools, erect scaffolding, and maintain a clean work area. The position requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup and debris removal on construction sites.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth to grade specifications using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks or other conveyances.
• Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, holding tools, and providing general support.
• Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, sealing, or other finishes.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools under supervision, such as shovels, rakes, brooms, tampers, and grinders.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic control signs, and other temporary structures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing PPE.
• Flag traffic or direct vehicles as needed to ensure safety of workers and the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or foremen.
