Sundt Construction in Austin, TX is seeking a general helper to support skilled craft workers on demanding projects. You will assist with assigned duties, learn multiple trades as directed, and follow supervisor guidance to maintain safety and quality.

This role emphasizes strong math, communication, and teamwork. You will participate in safety trainings, wear PPE, and contribute to efficient, high-quality work across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; NCCER Core Curriculum preferred.
• 1 year experience (level I), 2 years (level II), or 3+ years in industrial/construction preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effective Math skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• If unsure about any aspect of the work or issues regarding safe practices ask a supervisor before continuing.
