Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting is hiring a Laborer-Construction in Reading, PA to support field crew activities. The role focuses on safety-first laboring tasks, loading materials, and following directions from supervisors.

Travel may be required and overtime could be needed as jobs demand. Starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with a $150/week travel allowance and opportunities to increase pay as you train and reach targets.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment physical & drug screen.
• Criminal background check for ATF required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Submit time cards weekly with accurate signatures.
• Learn safety aspects of construction sites and explosives.
• Perform construction laboring tasks under supervision.
• Load/unload explosives from trucks; carry stemming stone to blast holes.
• Keep job site clean and organized; participate in safety meetings.
