Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking a Laborer-Construction to perform safety-minded construction labor and support blasting operations along the East Coast.

The role requires flexibility for out-of-town travel and overtime, with a starting pay of $18.00–$20.00 per hour plus a $150/week travel allowance. Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Must pass a criminal background check for ATF.
• Experience as a construction laborer is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies.
• Learn safety aspects of construction sites and explosives handling.
• Perform general construction labor tasks and follow directions.
• Work unsupervised when required.
• Pump blast holes dry with water pump and load explosives.
• Carry buckets of stemming stone to stem blast holes.
• Keep the job site clean and organized.
• Attend safety and foreman meetings as scheduled.
