Job summary

Pennsy Supply, a CRH Company, is hiring a Construction Skilled Laborer for the Pittston, PA area. Join a safety‑driven team and perform general labor, shoveling, material handling, form setup, and concrete work under foreman supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of labor or construction experience; valid driver's license; ability to work day, night or weekend shifts; drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of labor or construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and regulations (MSHA/OSHA/DOT) and Pennsy Supply policies.
• Conduct daily safety assignments and inspections, pre-shifts, and JSA's.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment and movement.
• Shovel, rake, spread, and level earth, aggregates and hot asphalt mix to spec.
• Load, unload, and carry tools, equipment and materials.
• Learn all skills to perform as a laborer crew member under foreman guidance.
• Read roadway plans with crew, use hand and power tools, construct forms, place reinforcement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by foreman.
