Job summary

Pennsy Supply, a CRH company, is seeking a Construction Skilled Laborer with CDL certification for our Pittston, PA operations. This role involves versatile general labor tasks, traffic control, and form-setting duties at construction sites.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, signaling equipment operators, and assisting with material handling and roadwork. A valid CDL, background check, and willingness to work varied shifts are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B and a current driver’s license required.
• Drug screen and criminal background check required.
• 1–3 years of laboring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and regulations (MSHA/OSHA/DOT) at Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and pre-shift checks.
• Measure distances from grade stakes and drive stakes; set up forms and lines.
• Signal equipment operators to ensure proper alignment and movement.
• Direct and coordinate with dump and lute personnel for material handling.
• Assist in erecting, moving and dismantling traffic control devices; perform flagging duties.
• Shovel, rake, and spread earth and materials to grade specifications; work with asphalt as needed.
• Load, unload, and transport tools and materials; maintain clean work areas.
• Operate tools such as air hammers, chisels and power saws as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
