Matrix Service Company is seeking a laborer to perform manual tasks across multiple crafts with supervision. Responsibilities include digging, leveling, scaffolding, maintaining work areas, and assisting skilled workers.

Regular attendance and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The position requires six months of construction/maintenance experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and familiarity with hand tools.

Qualifications

• Follow instructions and work as a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to pass labor proficiency test at or above 70%.
• Six months or more of construction/maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of construction hand tools.
• Completed Matrix Service Safety training and client/site-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Dig, spread and level dirt and gravel.
• Assist in erection of scaffolding.
• Maintain janitorial, drinking water and hand wash stations.
• Select and use proper tools for the task.
• Clean work area, tools, equipment and restock materials.
• Perform duties as directed by craftsman or senior craftsman.
• Follow directions in various duties which may change.
• Attend work reliably and on time.
• Act as Fire-Watch, Hole-Watch or Bottle-Watch.
