Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a full-time laborer to perform manual tasks under close supervision, assisting craftsmen across various sites in the United States. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a multi-craft environment.

You will assist in construction/maintenance tasks, operate basic hand tools, and help maintain work areas, while adhering to site-specific training and company ethics. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must pass labor proficiency testing at or above 70%.
• Six months or more of experience in construction/maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of using construction hand tools.
• Complete Matrix Service Safety training and site-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Support safety initiatives and core values at all times.
• Assist in digging, spreading, and leveling dirt and gravel.
• Assist with scaffolding erection and tool selection.
• Maintain janitorial stations and restock materials as needed.
• Follow directions and perform duties as assigned by craftsmen.
