Job summary

Cross Country Properties in Kansas City is seeking a Construction Laborer to support projects from groundbreaking to completion, performing a variety of physical tasks and helping skilled trades.

You will prepare and clean sites, move materials, erect scaffolding, operate basic tools, mix concrete, and follow OSHA safety standards on commercial job sites, contributing to a safe, efficient crew.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and obstructions
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Assist skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, and temporary structures
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools (shovels, jackhammers, drills, etc.)
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, or other materials
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, working condition
• Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or site supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris, hazardous materials, and obstructions
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment
