Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services in Alabama is seeking a construction laborer to support daily site activities. You will prepare sites, operate jackhammers and drills, mix concrete, and assist skilled workers while complying with safety rules on busy job sites.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with outdoor work in varying weather. You will read simple plans, maintain equipment, and help with material handling to keep projects on schedule and supervised by

Qualifications

• Ability to work in inc line.weather conditions and outdoors.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good reading comprehension for basic plans/instructions.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• Position, join, align and seal structural components.
• Shovel, mix, pour, and spread concrete.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine work activities.
• Maintain tools and equipment and clean the work site.
• Control traffic around work zones and observe safety guidelines.
