Qualifications

• Must understand safety rules and tool Instructions.
• Able to take measurements and make calculations.
• Good communication skills both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Assists with loading and unloading materials and equipment, distributing them where directed.
• Uses required tools to complete assigned tasks on the job site.
• Follows instructions from supervisors and assists other trades workers.
• Directs traffic during roadway construction as required.
• Builds and takes down scaffolding or temporary structures and maintains tools.
• Keeps the working area clean and uses equipment safely.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards and takes corrective action.
