Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a construction trades role at the San Marcos site. The selected candidate will perform physical labor on projects, assist with cleanup, carpentry, site logistics, and related tasks while adhering to safety policies and directions from foremen and superintendents.

The role requires basic construction knowledge, the ability to read plans and drawings, and reliable safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of general construction industry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review jobsite needs with Foreman and Superintendents to understand scopes of work per plans and specifications.
• Perform physical labor to assist with jobsite cleanup, carpentry, site logistics, fencing, scaffold building, and related tasks.
• Inventory supplies and coordinate with Foreman for restocking.
• Ensure compliance with Turner standards, safety codes, and jobsite security.
• Maintain equipment, PPE, and follow safety instructions.
