Job Description: Underground Construction Laborer at Locating Inc

Join our team as an Underground Construction Laborer at Locating Inc. We are seeking motivated individuals based in Greenville, SC, to help connect America through telecommunications infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Perform tasks related to installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling
• Hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools
• Climb into and out of equipment such as trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
• Work in congested or remote areas
• Maintain visual and audible contact with crew members and ensure safe coordination
• Perform general construction work under supervision
• Flagging, property or worksite restoration
• Maintain safe working habits according to regulations and policies

Who we are looking for:

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience in Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate utility trucks, equipment, and tools safely
• Good communication skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and in all weather conditions
