Position Summary: Under the foreperson's direction, laborers work on road crews, asphalt plants, or maintenance shops. Responsibilities include job layout, shoveling, raking, sweeping, traffic control, and operating small equipment such as blowers, saws, compactors, and jackhammers. Training is provided with potential for advancement to equipment operator. This is a full-time seasonal position (May-November), requiring overtime and some Saturdays, with local and regional travel opportunities.
