Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Type: Full Time - Hourly

Location: Louisville, CO

Department: Commercial

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Weekend availability may be required to meet production schedules. Employees are expected to work weekends as needed to support project deadlines and ensure timely completion of assignments.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Laborer to join our construction team. The role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment at job sites, as well as maintaining site cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and operating forklifts and flat carts. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to adapt to various environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Carry, load, and unload drywall materials, including joint compound (mud), drywall, metal studs, scaffold components, and hardware. Use forklifts and carts.
• Job Site Clean-Up: Remove scrap and debris using shovels, scrapers, brooms, and carts.
• Equipment Use: Safely operate forklifts, brooms, floor scrapers, dollies, and carts.
• Light Duties: Handle office paperwork, light clean-up duties, and organize gang boxes as needed.
• Attendance: Maintain consistent attendance to fulfill duties effectively.

Work Environment:

This role involves working both indoors and outdoors at job sites. Conditions may vary, including noise, dust, hot summers, cold winters, and uneven surfaces.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and carry materials up to 140 pounds.
• Consistently lift and carry 50-60 pounds for 3-5 hours daily.
• Push and pull 50-pound carts for up to one hour daily.
• Operate tools like brooms or scrapers for up to one hour per day.
• Reach and push 40-60 pounds above shoulder level for up to one hour.
• Stand, walk, and carry items for approximately six hours daily.
• Climb stairs while carrying 40-60 pounds.

Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in heavy lifting and material handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts and related tools.
• Strong physical stamina and coordination.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $20-$24/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
