Job summary

Zero Impact Builders in Fremont, CA is seeking an experienced general laborer for construction projects across multiple disciplines, including EV charging-related sites. You will assist with concrete work, formwork, pouring, rebar, and finishing, and help prepare sites per blueprints.

Candidates should have valid driver's license and reliable transportation, be safety‑conscious, and able to load/unload materials, operate backhoes, Bobcats, forklifts, and related equipment, while following

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction tasks following plans and directions
• Load and unload building materials and equipment
• Operate heavy equipment (backhoe, bobcat, forklift, excavator) as needed
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and prepare ground surfaces
• Follow site safety rules and coordinate with supervisors

Requirements:

• General tasks include Concrete; forming, pouring, mixing, rebar, finishing
• Generally working with Conduit PVC, EMT, Underground, and overhead
• Install Transformers/switchboards
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Load and unload building materials and equipment
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction
• Operate and control heavy-duty equipment and machinery like Bobcat, backhoe, excavator, etc.
• Build or take apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures
• Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by management.
• Operating experience in backhoes and forklifts a plus
• Other duties as assigned.
