Job summary

Zero Impact Builders is seeking a dependable construction laborer in Fremont, CA to support concrete work, site prep and material handling. You will follow plans, assist with framing, conduits, and utility installations as needed, under supervision.

Ideal candidates have experience in general labor, a safety-first mindset, and a valid driver's license. We offer health coverage, PTO, training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks including concrete work.
• Install conduits: PVC, EMT, underground and overhead systems.
• Load and unload building materials and equipment.
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth for construction.
• Operate heavy equipment such as Bobcat, backhoe, excavator.
• Follow construction plans and instructions from management.
• Maintain safe and clean job sites.

Requirements:

• General tasks include Concrete; forming, pouring, mixing, rebar, finishing
• Generally working with Conduit PVC, EMT, Underground, and overhead
• Install Transformers/switchboards
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Load and unload building materials and equipment
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth in preparation for construction
• Operate and control heavy-duty equipment and machinery like Bobcat, backhoe, excavator, etc.
• Build or take apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and other structures
• Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions provided by management.
• Operating experience in backhoes and forklifts a plus
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
