Job summary

Zero Impact Builders is seeking a skilled Concrete Professional to join our construction team in Sacramento. You will pour, spread, and smooth concrete to spec, design and install forms, and finish surfaces with sealants and waterproofing.

Applicants should have experience in concrete work, read technical drawings, and be able to work long hours, weekends, and travel to various sites within the area. Health insurance is provided, with competitive hourly pay of $25.00–$28.00.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience in the construction industry as a concrete laborer, concrete finisher, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of safety and health protocols in the industry.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, mixer, forklifts, and power washer.

Responsibilities

  • Mixing, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete.
  • Designing and setting up forms.
  • Molding expansion joints and edges per instructions.
  • Adding stones, colors, and other decorative items for finishing touch.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a hardworking and skilled Concrete Professional to join our construction team. You should be able to pour, spread, and smooth concrete mixtures to match the given specifications. Besides, you should also be able to plan and build forms. You should be able to give the concrete structures a finishing touch by using various sealants and waterproofing solutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Mixing, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete
  • Designing and setting up forms
  • Molding expansion joints and edges as per the instructions
  • Adding stones, colors, and other decorative items to give it a finishing touch
  • Using waterproofing solutions and various sealants to protect the concrete
  • Estimating the number of materials required and the project completion timeline
  • Reviewing and conducting repairs/restoration of concrete structures
  • Clearing the worksite of any stones, debris, and equipment before and after work
  • Adhering to the health and safety protocols at all times
  • Placing order and arranging for the transportation of materials required for the work
  • Other duties as assigne, willing to pitch in on other trades on job site
Qualifications/Skills:

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Zero Impact Builders (ZIB) is the construction and field execution arm of the Zero Impact Energy platform, delivering civil infrastructure and on-the-ground services required to deploy and maintain EV charging systems at scale.

ZIB is responsible for preparing sites, supporting installation, and ensuring long-term system performance through active field operations.

Core capabilities include:

  • Site preparation and civil construction for EV charging projects
  • Trenching, conduit routing, and underground infrastructure
  • Concrete work, equipment pads, and structural foundations
  • Coordination with utilities, inspectors, and project stakeholders
  • Operations and maintenance, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and uptime support

Our crews operate across California, working closely with electrical, engineering, and project management teams to move projects efficiently from site readiness through installation and ongoing service.
