Job summary

College of Southern Nevada invites applications for a Part-Time Jumpstart Instructor in Construction for FY 2027. You will teach pre-approved Jumpstart classes at high schools, deliver lectures and labs, and assess student progress in alignment with CSN curriculum.

Candidates must be pre-approved by the Department of Applied Technology, have at least 2 years of construction industry experience, and hold a CCSD/Secondary Education Teaching License or related credential.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be pre-approved by the Department of Applied Technology before applying in Workday.
• At least 2 years of construction industry experience.
• CCSD Business and Industry License or Secondary Education Teaching License.

Responsibilities

• Teach pre-approved CSN Jumpstart Classes at your high school in coordination with the CSN Dual Credit Office.
• Lecture and lab instruction.
• Independently grade and prepare progress reports in accordance with school policy.
