The Lane Construction Corporation in North Bergen, NJ invites ambitious students to join our Construction Intern program for a tunneling project. You will gain hands-on experience on a major highway project and work with experienced professionals in field and office settings.

The program runs May 24, 2027 to July 30, 2027 and includes exposure to procurement, survey, safety, plans, and submittals, with mentorship and potential career paths in heavy civil construction.

Competenze

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in heavy civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in both office and field settings.

Mansioni

• Assist with procurement activities.
• Support survey and layout operations.
• Assist safety professionals with safety initiatives and documentation.
• Read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
• Draft and prepare project submittals.
• Support foremen and superintendents with daily field operations.
• Learn and use industry software such as HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and Primavera.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
