The Tepa Companies in Fort Benning, GA offer a paid 12-week Construction Intern program designed to expose participants to a range of construction management activities. The internship provides hands-on field experience and exposure to estimating, scheduling, RFIs, and submittal coordination.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, within two years of graduation, and demonstrate leadership and proactive problem-solving abilities.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or another related field from an accredited program.
• Within 2 years of graduation (rising junior/rising senior).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
• Assisting with estimating, scheduling, developing bid packages, issuing RFIs, and coordination of submittals.
• Observing and supervising construction activities.
• Assisting with project close out activities.
• Learn about the Support of our Field Staff.
• Interacting with design professionals and construction management teams.
• Assisting with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
• Assisting with safety enforcement.
• Organizing and attending project meetings.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Location: Fort Benning, GA Pay range: $21.00- $25.00/HR

ABOUT THE JOB

The Construction Intern has exposure to and opportunities to work in a variety of construction management areas. This role works in an incredibly fast-moving business and has the opportunity to make valuable contributions.

The Tepa Companies 2027 Intern Program is a paid opportunity for the duration of 12 weeks. Depending on your workload and school schedule, the work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week.
