The Tepa Companies in Denver, CO are seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern for a 12-week paid program. You will gain exposure to several finance functions including accounts payable/receivable, project accounting, payroll, and staff accounting.

This fast-moving program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully while you complete your degree. Schedule is about 40 hours per week in the Denver office.

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Within 2 years of graduation (rising junior/rising senior).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Assists variety of Finance & Accounting departments including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Payroll, and Staff Accounting with daily functions.
• Conducts general clerical duties as required (typing, filing, meetings, etc.). Prepare memos, forms, and letters as needed.
• Analyzes complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
• Assists with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
• Assists with monthly status reports and monthly closings.
• Maintains employee confidence by keeping all information confidential.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Finance & Accounting Intern works receives exposure to a variety of Finance & Accounting disciplines with the opportunity for future work in these areas based on skills and interests. This role is part of a fast-moving business and has the opportunity to make valuable contributions.

The Tepa Companies 2027 Intern Program is a paid opportunity for the duration of 12 weeks. Depending on your workload and school schedule, the work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week in the Denver, CO office location.

Location: Denver, CO

Pay range: $21.00- $25.00/HR

• Assists with filing, maintaining, and distributing accounting documents, records, and reports.
• Maintains employee confidence by keeping all information confidential.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Within 2 years of graduation (rising junior/rising senior).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Intermediate proficiency in organization and prioritization and ability to multi-task
• Intermediate proficiency in oral and written communication
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Self-motivated individual with strong, organizational, problem solving and analytical abilities
