The Tepa Companies offer a paid Construction Intern program at Fort Benning, GA. This 12-week internship provides exposure to multiple construction management areas within a fast-moving environment.

Participants will assist with field execution, estimating, scheduling, RFIs, and submittals, while learning from design professionals and our field staff. The program emphasizes safety, budgets, and project meetings during a 40-hour work week.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Within 2 years of graduation (rising junior/rising senior).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to organize, multitask and work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
• Assisting with estimating, scheduling, bid packages, issuing RFIs, and coordination of submittals.
• Observing and supervising construction activities.
• Assisting with project close out activities.
• Learn about the support of our Field Staff.
• Interacting with design professionals and construction management teams.
• Assisting with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
• Assisting with safety enforcement.
• Organizing and attending project meetings.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Pay range: $21.00- $25.00/HR

About The Job

The Construction Intern has exposure to and opportunities to work in a variety of construction management areas. This role works in an incredibly fast-moving business and has the opportunity to make valuable contributions.

The Tepa Companies 2027 Intern Program is a paid opportunity for the duration of 12 weeks. Depending on your workload and school schedule, the work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week.

• Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
• Assisting with estimating, scheduling, developing bid packages, issuing RFI’s, and coordination of submittals.

• Assisting with project close out activities.
• Learn about the Support of our Field Staff.

• Performing other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or another related field from accredited program.
• Within 2 years of graduation (rising junior/rising senior).
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
• Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
