Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited college or university in construction or related trades.
• Experience providing on-the-job training and supervision.
• Background in teaching, corporate training, or construction trades; 3+ years preferred.
• Unofficial transcripts and training certifications must be submitted with application.
• Official transcripts required before hire; degrees from outside the US must be evaluated for equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to students.
• Prepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activities.
• Develop and prepare tests to evaluate student performance and maintain grade records.
• Provide classroom demonstration on equipment and develop laboratory assignments for hands-on experience.
• Monitor and engage students in assigned activities; maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Take attendance and document student participation accurately.
• Maintain and submit all required paperwork (class rosters, registration forms, paysheets, attendance).
• Oversee policy implementation for the teaching area in line with CFCC guidelines.
• Oversee field studies and travel with students to provide assistance and instruction as appropriate.
