Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Construction Inspector to perform field inspections on active projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and codes. You will document observations, generate inspection reports, and coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve findings.

Required certifications and experience include NICET II in Construction Materials Testing and multiple related credentials, with 2–4 years in construction inspection and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in construction inspection.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
• Multiple national, regional, state, or local materials-related certifications required or considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed to ensure work meets contract specs.
• Reads construction drawings and specifications; documents findings clearly.
• Prepares inspection reports and documents nonconformance.
• Communicates findings to Project Manager and team; supports issue resolution.
• Maintains equipment operation and calibration; assists senior inspectors on large projects.
• Adheres to safety rules and practices on all projects.
