The role involves inspecting and overseeing construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, serving as the daily point of contact with clients and contractors, and managing all aspects of a project, including documentation and testing. The ideal candidate will have a safety-first mindset, strong writing and communication skills, and up to four years of inspection experience on

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0-4 years of construction inspection experience.
• Experience in construction, inspection, or material testing for highway projects.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Strong writing, listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure distances to verify dimensions of installations.
• Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.
• Oversee workmanship and ensure conformance to specs.
• Prepare samples for laboratory testing.
• Maintain daily log of construction and inspection activities.
• Manage project documentation using AASHTOWare, e-Builder, or Transport.
• Serve as daily point of contact with clients and contractors.
• Monitor multiple work activities and ensure safety practices.
