Construction Inspector / Construction Services

We are offering exciting career opportunities for Construction Inspectors (NICET Level II thru IV). H&H currently has multiple inspection projects for movable and fixed bridges in Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and special requirements.
• Apply mathematical formulas and engineering principles to field measurements and quantity calculations for payment recommendations.
• Prepare clear and concise Daily Inspection Reports documenting work, manpower, materials, equipment, and quantities of work completed.
• Operate field inspection equipment proficiently.
• Maintain good oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of bridge/highway construction experience.
• Knowledge of bridge and highway construction methods, materials, standards, and specifications.
• Certifications such as NICET, ACI, SAT, and Traffic Control are preferred.
• 10-hour OSHA safety training certification.
• Experience with NJDOT and NJTA is preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
