Job summary

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a Geotechnical and Environmental consulting firm seeking field inspectors to perform material testing and inspections. The role includes communicating results to project managers, transporting samples, and preparing field data and reports.

Travel to various construction sites is required. Candidates should have 1 year of field inspection experience, an associate degree, and nuclear density gauge certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing.
• Associates Degree.
• Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification.
• Prior geotechnical/environmental field investigation preferred.
• ACI, AASHTO, or ICC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel);
• Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results;
• Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis;
• Preparation of field data and technical reports; and
• Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing;
• Associates Degree;
• Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification;
• Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred; and
• ACI, AASHTO, or ICC certifications highly preferred.

Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Hourly Pay Range: $22 USD - $28 USD
