Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification highly preferred.
• 0-3+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical investigations including site visits, soil sampling, and laboratory testing.
• Perform field inspections and monitoring during construction to ensure conformance with design recommendations and material specs.
• Prepare geotechnical reports with interpretation, analysis, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and construction specifications related to geotechnical engineering.
• Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations affecting geotechnical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical investigations, including site visits, soil sampling, and laboratory testing, to assess subsurface conditions;
• Conduct field inspections and monitoring during construction to ensure compliance with geotechnical design recommendations and material specifications;
• Prepare geotechnical reports, including data interpretation, analysis, and recommendations, to communicate findings to clients and project stakeholders;
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and construction specifications related to geotechnical engineering; and
• Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to geotechnical engineering, and apply this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
• EIT certification is highly preferred;
• 0-3+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, including field investigations, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze geotechnical data;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients and project teams;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; and

Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 USD
