Gannett Fleming is looking for Construction Inspectors to support our growing team of Professionals in the New Jersey area.

Responsibilities

• Must perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Flemings Quality Management Protocols (QMP)
• Complete daily inspection reports on a daily basis
• Represent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearance
• Be onsite during contractor work activities
• Report and take directions from the Resident Engineer

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• NICET Highway Construction Inspection Level 2, 3 or 4or 4-12 years road/bridge construction inspection experience
• Experience with NJDOT and NJ Turnpike Authority preferred
• Rutgers CAIT Traffic Control Coordinator certification
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician certification
• NJSAT HMA Asphalt Technologist certification
• NJ Chapter ACI Concrete Construction Technology Course is desirable
• Must understand comprehensive construction drawings, standard specifications and Shop Drawing submittals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows
• Ability to travel and work flexible schedules including overtime
• Must be physically capable and willing to work outdoors, maneuver difficult terrain and pass a medical evaluation
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to, from and around project locations
