Rinker Design Associates, a DRMP company, powered by Trilon (RDA), in Blacksburg, VA, seeks a Construction Inspector to join our field team supporting roadway, structural, and bridge projects.

You will work with engineers, contractors, and agency personnel to ensure quality and safety, meeting VDOT requirements while delivering practical solutions and timely project completion.

Formación

• 1-5 years of construction inspection experience, including VDOT inspection.
• Knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
• VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, intermediate work zone, and more.

Responsabilidades

• Support Major Projects: front lines of critical infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency.
• Enforce Standards: adhere to VDOT standards and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Contractors, and agency personnel.
• Solve Real-World Challenges: adapt to field conditions and provide practical solutions.

Compensation: $52,700 - $83,200 / year

Rinker Design Associates, a DRMP company, Powered by Trilon (RDA) is looking for a Construction Inspector to join our team in the Blacksburg, Virginia area. You’ll work alongside engineers, contractors, and agency personnel on roadway, structural, and bridge construction projects, helping ensure work meets VDOT’s quality and safety standards. What You'll Do:

• Support Major Projects: Be on the front lines of critical infrastructure projects, helping ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside experienced engineers, contractors, and agency personnel.
• Solve Real-World Challenges: Adapt to changing field conditions and find practical solutions.

What You'll Need:

• Relevant Experience: 1-5 years of construction inspection experience, including VDOT inspection experience and knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
• Certification Savvy: VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, intermediate work zone, and more.
• Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.

Required Certifications:

• VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction
• VDOT Asphalt Field Level I & II
• ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I
• DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector
• Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
• Intermediate Work Zone Safety Training
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction
