STV currently has openings for Construction Inspection Supervisors in the Transportation group in Pennsylvania.
Position: Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors
Our Transportation group, based in Douglassville, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia, PA offices, seeks experienced construction inspection supervisors familiar with PennDOT and PA Turnpike highway and bridge projects.
Field Locations: Lehigh Valley and Northeastern PA (Carbon, Monroe, Northampton, Schuylkill Counties). Future projects in Philadelphia region.
Clients: Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Districts 4, 5, 6, and the PA Turnpike Commission (PTC).
Experience & Certifications: 4-8 years on highway/bridge construction inspection; certifications such as NICET Level III in Highway Construction, NECEPT Asphalt Field Technician, ACI Concrete Technician, PennDOT/NECEPT Concrete Technician, Stormwater Management, Guiderail/Attenuator, Traffic Control, OSHA/Safety are required or desired. A HS Diploma or GED is mandatory, with an AS or BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management being a plus.
Key Skills & Abilities: Strong experience with PennDOT/PA Turnpike documentation systems, project management software, knowledge of construction standards, computer skills, math skills, communication, supervisory capabilities, and physical presence on-site are essential. Willingness to work nights/weekends, attend training, and operate a personal vehicle in construction zones is required. Knowledge of environmental regulations and experience in project close-out processes are also important.
Compensation Range: $60,140 - $80,187 annually.
