Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Construction Inspection Office Engineer for the Maryland Transportation Authority in Stevensville, MD. The role supports bridge and roadway repairs, with a full-time office placement and some field work.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, multitasking, and initiative, plus proficiency in MS Office; MS Office 365 and MS Project are a plus. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Experience with eMCMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection daily reports (IDRs) for consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
• Manage IDRs and create monthly estimates for payment using eMCMS.
• Assist inspectors with preparing MOT permits and obtain them.
• Coordinate with State Police Troopers for projects requiring lane closures.
• Review work orders from design engineers and log into the Worklist (SIRE).
• Obtain weekly on-site reports and update Worklist with progress and costs.
• Prepare progress reports for managers.
