TRADE TOOLS INC is seeking a motivated Construction Inside Sales Representative in Mendota Heights, MN to build relationships with contractors and construction professionals. You will provide product recommendations, prepare quotes, and manage customer orders to support growth.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction inside sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of construction inside sales or construction industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, building products, or industrial supplies is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Prepare quotes, bids, and sales orders.
• Follow up on quotes to convert opportunities into sales.
• Coordinate with outside sales representatives, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Stay informed about construction materials, products, pricing, and industry trends.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
