Job summary

Aon is seeking a skilled Casualty Broker II for Construction & Infrastructure to join our hybrid team (2-3 days onsite weekly) with preferred locations in Chicago, Boston, or Atlanta. You will lead macro placement for large projects, coordinate market submissions, and negotiate terms with insurers while collaborating with internal leaders and account teams.

The role emphasizes client service, risk assessment, and strategic account management, requiring 5-7+ years of commercial insurance

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of commercial insurance experience, with preference for construction contractors.
• Deep knowledge of the insurance brokerage business and client needs across major lines.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client and internal stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed and to obtain a Property & Casualty license within four months.

Responsibilities

• Lead placement of Casualty policies for large construction projects and annual renewals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop account strategies and market submissions.
• Engage with clients to deliver timely, high-quality service and support.
• Analyze project risks and ensure coverage aligns with exposures.
• Coordinate submission materials with clients and stakeholders.
• Present product design options and market submissions to clients and relationship managers.
• Review quotes and binders for accuracy and completeness.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships and stay informed on market trends.
