Job summary

Aon Boston is seeking an experienced Casualty Broker II to lead the placement of Casualty policies for large construction projects and annual renewal programs. This role collaborates with internal teams to develop strategies and manage insurance marketing activities.

The position is hybrid (2-3 days onsite) with travel as needed and requires 5-7+ years of commercial insurance experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a plan to obtain a Property & Casualty license within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead placement of Casualty policies for large construction projects and renewal programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop account strategies and market submissions.
• Engage with clients to deliver timely, high-quality service and support.
• Analyze project risks and contract terms to ensure coverage aligns with exposures.
• Coordinate submission materials with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Present product design options and market submissions to clients and relationship managers.
• Review quotes and binders for accuracy and completeness.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and stay informed on market trends.
