Job summary

CLA is seeking a Controller with Construction Industry experience for our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice, based in Green Bay or Appleton, WI. You will apply GAAP knowledge, oversee budgeting and internal controls, and lead financial reporting for client engagements.

Ideal candidates have 7 years of controller experience, familiarity with QuickBooks and NetSuite, and a CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years of controller experience; construction industry preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop GAAP knowledge and financial operations for construction clients.
• Design internal controls for budgeting, cash management, and accounting.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurements, and investments.
• Prepare financial information and statements for regulators and boards.
• Advise management on short- and long-term financial objectives and actions.
• Communicate regularly with boards, bankers, investors, and stakeholders.
