JOB SUMMARY

A Construction HVAC Startup Technician is responsible for performing start-up and functionality checking on newly installed HVAC and plumbing equipment. The technician will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment under warranty, completing all required documentation and route to appropriate manager/supervisor. The technician will also be responsible for Interfacing with customers, clients, internal managers, and vendors. Works under limited supervision, makes decisions based on expertise, knowledge, and coordination with internal management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Must follow the direction of the Start-up Manager.
• Will work with start-up crews and QAQC crew for performing tasks on the job site.
• Will perform startup and diagnosis repairs of warranty items on units.
• Read, understand, and communicate construction documents such as Construction M, P, FA, E drawings, scopes of work, schedules deadlines, specifications, safety manuals, supervisor manual, Project CTC team goals.
• Will embrace and enforce a Safety culture for his or her project teams members.
• Ensure all company policies, standards and procedures are adhered to.
• Will self QC any completed on on work on projects.
• Will be responsible for communicating with the start‑up manager to inform him of any issues with the crew, material, or any other issue that may occur on the job site.
• Must follow and enforce all safety and operational rules required by IMCOR and the GC for that site.
• A proactive individual is required, must be able to independently resolve problems or conflicts and adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail on IOM Installation and manufacture standards.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability.
• Must Maintain a 90% or higher Samsara driving score.
• Must be able to share knowledge and train OJT with team.
• Have General knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing systems.
• Time management with the ability to multi‑task and work with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in electronic reporting with I‑Pad and Procore structure.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others trades with a team culture. S.T.R.I.V.E.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

For consideration, candidates musthave3-10+years of experience in the HVAC Field and HVAC Trade School Certification or other related fields.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must always put SAFETY FIRST.
• Clear driving record.
• Be willing to go to jobsites in the areas where we work. Work nights, weekends and out of town as required.
• Must have own basic hand tools.
• Must be a team player and take pride in all work.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
