Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Construction HSE Manager for Southern California projects (Travis, CA) with travel to other locations. You will implement site-specific EHS plans, conduct audits and investigations, and manage records in line with federal, state and local safety rules.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in Safety/ IH/ CE/ Construction Management (or CHST) and 5+ years in construction EHS, plus strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CHST certification required for safety leadership in construction.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and manage time effectively.
• Some travel to project sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific EHS plans compliant with regulations.
• Coordinate subcontractor EHS protocols and audits on projects.
• Plan and coordinate efforts to eliminate hazards and minimize losses.
• Conduct quarterly on-site EHS audits and incident investigations.
• Provide training and maintain EHS records and reports.
