RM Steel Buildings in Kansas is seeking a dependable Construction General Laborer to join our active crew. This role supports site operations, assists skilled trades, and helps maintain safety and efficiency on job sites.

You will perform site preparation, material handling, tool operation, and work closely with foremen to ensure projects stay on schedule while adhering to OSHA guidelines and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience on job sites.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly and work in varying weather.
• Reliability and punctuality with consistent attendance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and maintenance to ensure safe workflows.
• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Safely operate hand and power tools (jackhammers, drills, grinders, saws, cement mixers).
• Assist skilled trades with carpentry, masonry, and foremen on tasks.
• Enforce OSHA safety rules and maintain a clean, hazard-free site.
