Job summary

KS Industries, LLC is seeking a Laborer to support crew leads, equipment operators, crane operators, and welders with a range of manual labor tasks on construction sites. The role emphasizes safety, attendance, proper PPE, and adherence to the Detailed Daily Work Plan.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, tool audits, hazard recognition, rigging, and assisting with various trades while maintaining compliance with company SOPs and safety procedures on diverse client sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to recognize and use hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out process.
• Ability to demonstrate basic construction safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Attend morning safety tailgate meetings and communicate safety topics as needed.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and check fluids, tires, lights, and signs.
• Conduct monthly tool audits on equipment and ensure compliance.
• Follow Detailed Daily Work Plan (DDWP) and ensure crew participation and compliance with procedures.
• Assist crane operations with proper rigging and hand signals; learn load handling.
• Learn and apply KS Industries SOPs prior to each task.
• Perform all assigned tasks and maintain safety on site.
• Work with crew leads, equipment operators, and welders to complete daily tasks.
