Job summary

RFB Construction Co, Inc. is seeking General Laborers to join a field team across Kansas. You will work with experienced crews on erosion control, site preparation, and material handling, contributing to safe, efficient project progress.

Applicants should be dependable, able to work outdoors in varying weather, and willing to train in construction basics. A valid driver’s license is preferred, with opportunities for growth and industry training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or erosion control is helpful but not required; training provided for motivated individuals.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Capable of basic math and using mobile applications for project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install erosion control products (silt fence, filter socks, blankets, sod).
• Prepare and maintain jobsites through digging, grading, raking, and debris removal.
• Load/unload and organize materials and supplies.
• Operate hand tools and basic power equipment safely.
• Assist equipment operators with positioning and communication.
• Keep project sites clean and organized; document progress with mobile devices.
