Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Foreman to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. The Foreman should be able to direct, supervise, and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site. In addition to ensuring that safety rules are followed at all times and developing work schedules based on employee and contractor availability, they are also responsible for:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation
- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making adjustments when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Emphasize safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing safety training
- Regularly report project status to supervisors, site inspectors, owners, and other officials
- Resolve conflicts or miscommunications promptly and amicably
- Set up lasers for installing sewer lines and waterlines
- Maintain high standards of workmanship adhering to original plans and specifications
- Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
