Job summary

Methuen Construction is seeking a Project Finance Manager to oversee financial management across complex, high-value construction programs from setup through closeout. You’ll guide budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning while safeguarding profitability and ensuring accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in finance, accounting, construction management, or related field.
• 3-7+ years of experience in construction finance, project controls, or cost management.
• Experience with large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of complex, high-value capital construction projects from preconstruction through financial closeout.
• Lead project financial planning, setup, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, schedules, and project scope.
• Monitor and manage job costs, commitments, expenditures, change orders, contingencies, and overall project financial performance.
• Analyze cost variances, productivity trends, financial risks, and change impacts to identify opportunities for corrective action and protect project profitability.
• Review and validate cost-to-complete forecasts, financial reports, project billing, revenue recognition, and cash flow projections.
• Partner with Project Management, Project Controls, Accounting, and Procurement to support financial decisions, reporting accuracy, and accountability.
• Establish and uphold project financial governance, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
