Austin Design Build is seeking a Controller / Accounts Payable role to manage day-to-day accounting for construction projects in Fort Worth, TX, on-site. You will oversee accounts payable, invoicing, payments, and vendor reconciliations while supporting month-end close and budgeting.

The ideal candidate has strong AP and general accounting skills, experience with ERP software, and a solid understanding of construction project accounting.

Formación

• Candidate must have strong accounts payable and vendor reconciliation experience.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting, journal entries, and month-end close support.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP software; strong Excel skills.
• Relevant construction or project-based accounting experience is highly beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective collaboration with project teams, vendors, and management.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and invoice entry.
• Process payments and reconcile vendor statements.
• Maintain general ledger entries and assist with month-end close.
• Prepare basic financial reports and support budgeting and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with project managers and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Improve accounting processes and support audits.
• Provide timely financial insights to leadership.
