Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking an Associate for our Construction Finance team in Arlington, VA. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and data-driven insights to support multi-billion-dollar capital projects.

You will present financial results to senior leaders and help drive decision making, with responsibilities spanning monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and external reporting support. Occasional travel to Houston may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Cost Engineering, Project Controls, Accounting or related field
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities
• Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast paced environment, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Excellent interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to influence and challenge
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and present key details and conclusions
• Proactive problem solving mindset to achieve business and financial objectives
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated initiative and ownership of work with strong attention to detail
• High level of ethics, integrity and emotional intelligence with ability to maintain confidentiality
• Willing to report in office, daily
• Occasional travel to construction site(s) or Houston office will be required
